1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the Horizon AI website (horizonai.co.za) or by engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or services.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act) and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).
2. About Horizon AI
Horizon AI is a sole proprietor AI automation agency operated by Zane Grobler, based in Mbombela, Mpumalanga, South Africa. We design and build custom AI workflows, automation systems, and intelligent agents for B2B businesses.

3. Services
Horizon AI provides bespoke AI automation services including but not limited to:
- Custom workflow automation (n8n, Zapier, Make and similar platforms)
- AI agent development using large language models
- System integrations (CRM, ERP, email, reporting tools)
- Document processing and business intelligence automation
Each engagement is governed by a separate written agreement, statement of work, or proposal ("Project Agreement") agreed to between Horizon AI and the client. In the event of conflict between these Terms and a Project Agreement, the Project Agreement prevails.
4. Website Use
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the website in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation
- Transmit any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising material
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our website or systems
- Use automated tools to scrape or harvest content from this site
5. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and code — is the intellectual property of Horizon AI unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
Custom software, workflows, and automations we build for clients under a Project Agreement are owned as specified in that agreement. By default, upon full payment, the client owns all deliverables created specifically for them.
6. Payment Terms
Payment terms, milestones, and amounts are specified in each Project Agreement. Unless otherwise agreed:
- A deposit of 50% is payable before work commences
- The remaining balance is payable upon delivery of final deliverables
- Invoices are payable within 7 days of issue
- Late payments may incur interest at the repo rate + 2% per month
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:
- Horizon AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our services or this website
- Our total liability for any claim arising from a Project Agreement is limited to the fees paid by you under that specific agreement
- We do not warrant that automation systems will be error-free or uninterrupted — we commit to good-faith efforts and industry-standard practices
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
8. Confidentiality
Both parties agree to keep confidential any sensitive business information shared during an engagement. We will not disclose your business data, processes, or strategies to third parties without your consent, except as required by law.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate a Project Agreement with 14 days' written notice. Upon termination:
- All work completed to the termination date is billable at the agreed rate
- All deliverables completed and paid for become the property of the client
- Both parties remain bound by confidentiality obligations
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution in good faith through direct communication. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to mediation before any legal proceedings are commenced. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and you submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects any changes. Your continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance.
